"Myra has been a strong partner for cyber security for years – especially for public authorities and highly regulated industries," says Epp. "If you look at critical infrastructure operators or companies in the healthcare, finance and insurance sectors in particular, it's not just about the highest demands on the cyber resilience of data and infrastructure, but also about compliance with strict regulatory and legal requirements," he continues. "Myra has always been a pioneer in balancing the two while staying ahead of the changing threat landscape. I look forward to supporting Myra's leadership team in further building resilience for digitalization in Germany."

Sergej Epp has been with Palo Alto Networks since 2018 and is currently CSO for EMEA Central. Prior to that, he was responsible for Cyber Defense, Threat Intelligence and Investigations at Deutsche Bank for nine years. As a specialist in cyber security strategies, Epp is a speaker and lecturer as well as a consultant for investors and companies.

"Sergej is an experienced expert in the IT world and the ideal candidate for our Advisory Board," says Myra Co-Founder Paul Kaffsack. "With his background in the financial sector, he knows how important it is to work with the right service providers. The highest level of confidentiality requires the highest security standards – there is no room for error there. Sergej's expertise helps us to further advance the protection of digital processes of companies, critical infrastructure and public clients."
